History of support promises bright future

History of support promises bright future

In the following 2022-23 Annual Donor Report you will find a comprehensive list of supporters, like you, who make the Greenhills School experience possible for students and families. As we have from our start in 1968, Greenhills relies on the generosity of donors to deliver on the great promise of our programs.

Just a few months ago, as the closing event for the 2022-23 school year, Greenhills hosted our annual reunion weekend, where we celebrated with our alums – especially those commemorating their 10th, 20th, 25th, 30th, 40th, and 50th reunions. Seeing so many of these graduates return to campus from around the country and beyond was deeply gratifying. Their kindness extends a legacy of philanthropy that strengthens the school.

Greenhills donors clearly appreciate what goes into cultivating such connections with our graduates. Without philanthropic support for the school, we could not sustain our mission to help develop “curious, creative, and responsible citizens…whose meaningful and well-balanced lives will better the world.”

For many of June’s reuniting alums, and especially those who had not been back to 850 Greenhills Drive in decades, their amazement at the school’s permutations and growth over the years was clear. They walked down hallways that were grass fields 30 years ago, ate lunch prepared in a kitchen that was once a tool room, and sang the school anthem in the Campbell Center theater that has so ably replaced the make-shift, gym and lunch room stages that once served our performers. Greenhills has grown and evolved in many important ways over the last 55 years, yet the school’s student-centered spirit remains as robust as ever.

Donors’ gifts of all sizes enable us to remain true to our core values and agile enough to meet new opportunities. That was true five decades ago and remains so today.

Thank you for supporting this exceptional school.

A generous new bar for Greenhills

Through the kindness of our donors, Greenhills School reached new heights for annual giving in 2022-23.

Across the board, our families, alumni, alumni parents, faculty/staff, and friends demonstrated their belief in this remarkable place by giving in support of our operations, financial aid, faculty development, athletics, arts, student activities, and more. These commitments joined with tuition to keep us accessible, on track, and prepared for continued success.

Thank you!

In the following pages, we’ve attempted to accurately recognize the hundreds of donors whose generosity ensured another outstanding year at Greenhills. This year’s donors extend a tradition of philanthropy that nourishes the school.

We hope you enjoy this report, and know how grateful we are for your support.
